Dua of the Day 8 of ramadan
: ” O God, help me in it in his fasting and standing, protect me from his mistakes and sins, and grant me in it your remembrance of his permanence, with your success, O guide of the misguided “. The reward for this supplication is “Whoever supplicates for it will be given in Paradise what is given to martyrs, enemies, and saints”
Translation
: ” اَللّـهُمَّ اَعِنّي فِيهِ عَلى صِيامِهِ وَقِيامِهِ، وَجَنِّبْني فيهِ مِنْ هَفَواتِهِ وَآثامِهِ، وَارْزُقْني فيهِ ذِكْرَكَ بِدَوامِهِ، بِتَوْفيقِكَ يا هادِيَ الْمُضِلّينَ “. ثواب هذا الدعاء “مَنْ دَعَا بِهِ أُعْطِيَ فِي الْجَنَّةِ مَا يُعْطَى الشُّهَدَاءُ وَ السُّعَدَاءُ وَ الْأَوْلِيَاءُ”
Hadith of the Day
On the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, he said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: «If it is the first night of the month of Ramadan, the devils are chained up, the jinn are returned, and the gates of Hell are closed, and no door of Paradise is opened, and no door is closed from it, and a caller calls out: O seeker of goodness, come, and O seeker of evil, shorter, and God has freedom from Hell, and that is every night»
Translation
عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: «إذا كان أول ليلة من شهر رمضان صفدت الشياطين، ومردة الجن، وغلقت أبواب النار، فلم يفتح منها باب، وفتحت أبواب الجنة، فلم يغلق منها باب، وينادي مناد: يا باغي الخير أقبل، ويا باغي الشر أقصر، ولله عتقاء من النار، وذلك كل ليلة»
