- The Prophet Peace Be Upon Him said:
(The likeness of the believer who recites the Qur’an is like the cistern, whose scent is pleasant and its taste is pleasant, and the likeness of the believer who does not recite the Qur’an like a date, it has no smell and its taste is sweet)

And in a narration: I disobeyed to be in the Fire.
