Dua of the Day 23 of ramadan

Oh God, wash me of sins in it, purify me of defects in it, and test my heart in it by strengthening hearts, O you who are killed by the stumbles of sinners “. The reward for this supplication is “Whoever supplicates to it will pass by the path like the lightning that snatches with the prophets, the martyrs, and the righteous”

Translation

اللَّهُمَّ اغْسِلْنِي فِيهِ مِنَ الذُّنُوبِ، وَ طَهِّرْنِي فِيهِ مِنَ الْعُيُوبِ، وَ امْتَحِنْ فِيهِ قَلْبِي بِتَقْوَى الْقُلُوبِ، يَا مُقِيلَ عَثَرَاتِ الْمُذْنِبِينَ “. ثواب هذا الدعاء “مَنْ دَعَا بِهِ مَرَّ عَلَى الصِّرَاطِ كَالْبَرْقِ الْخَاطِفِ مَعَ النَّبِيِّينَ وَ الشُّهَدَاءِ وَ الصَّالِحِينَ”

Hadith of the Day

On the authority of Abdullah bin Amr that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: « Fasting and the Qur’an intercede for the servant on the Day of Resurrection.Fasting says: Yes, Lord.Food and desires prevented him during the day, so he interceded for me in it.The Qur’an says: I prevented him from sleeping at night, so he interceded for me in it.He said: So they interceded.»

Translation

عن عبد الله بن عمرو أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: «الصيام والقرآن يشفعان للعبد يوم القيامة، يقول الصيام: أي رب، منعته الطعام والشهوات بالنهار فشفِّعني فيه، ويقول القرآن: منعته النوم بالليل فشفعني فيه، قال: فيُشفَّعان»
